Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until about 2:30 p.m. (weather permitting): March 29th, April 26th, May 3rd.
No need to sign up—just drop by and lend a hand! Stay for as long as you can, and enjoy some community spirit along the way. Plus, we're making it a party! We'll fuel your efforts with hot dogs/veggie dogs on the grill.
Get a jump start on your volunteer hours and and help us prepare for another great season!
In keeping with the intention and meaning of a community garden, and in an effort to defray costs and maximize grant awards, each Gardener and Co-Gardener is required to donate a minimum of five (5) hours per plot toward the operation, maintenance, and promotion of the Garden. Hours are recorded in the Volunteer Service Log. In lieu of volunteer hours, a donation to OBCDC's Garden Fund of $25/hr minimum is required. (Rule 12)
